  • Dr. Amrit Bhogal

    Dr. Bhogal went to college at Western University, where he studied Health Sciences; and then dentistry at The Schulich School of Medicine. He is proficient in all aspects of general dental care and has a keen interest in basic surgery and endodontics. Despite spending most of his life in Southern Ontario, Dr. Bhogal decided to move to Timmins. He hopes to discover the true joy of living up North.

    In his free time, Dr. Bhogal enjoys reading science fiction, listening to Motown music, and backcountry camping!

  • Dr. Dan Vockeroth

    Dr. Dan Vockeroth graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto and joined Hollinger Dental Group in 2012. His educational accomplishments also include an Honours Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree in Physiology from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Vockeroth grew up in Iroquois Falls and is very pleased to return home to establish his career in Timmins. He is a fan of many sports and loves to golf and play hockey in his spare time. He also has a passion for music, and enjoys playing guitar and keyboard in a local band in Timmins.

  • Dr. Maxine Scripnick

    Dr. Scripnick was born and raised in Timmins and is a graduate of École Secondaire Theriault.

    She continued her post-secondary education at the University of Montreal where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

    Dr. Scripnick enjoys all aspects of dentistry with an emphasis on patient education and open dialogue while providing patient care.

  • Dr. Norman Béland

    Dr. Norman Béland graduated with his Bachelor of Science from Ottawa University and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Western University in 1992.

    He completed a general dentistry residency at University Hospital in London immediately after graduation with additional training in oral surgery at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx in New York City. He has a special interest in dental implant surgery.

    When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his family. He plays recreational sports and hunts and fishes whenever he can.

  • Dr. Pascal Stevens

    Dr. Pascal Stevens graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Montreal. He has an Honours B.Sc. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family.

  • Dr. Jacob Rifkind

    Oral Surgeon

    Born in Hamilton and raised in Toronto, Jacob Rifkind completed his dental training at the University of Western Ontario before pursuing further training in the United States. First, he completed a hospital dental residency at Columbia University - New York Presbyterian Hospital, then medical school at SUNY Downstate, and finally oral maxillofacial surgery at Kings County Hospital. Jacob initially worked in the United States before moving back home to Toronto to be closer to his family.

    Jacob works primarily in the Greater Toronto Area and enjoys teaching oral surgery at the University of Toronto. When the opportunity arose to work at Hollinger Dental, he was initially curious, but the warmth of the town has kept him coming back.

    Jacob maintains his medical and dental licenses in New York State. In Canada, he maintains his dental license, anesthesia permit, and is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (oral maxillofacial surgery). He is also a member of multiple oral surgery and dental organizations both in Canada and in the United States.
